Happy Birthday Taylor (St. Patricks Day)

Taylor is a St. Patricks Day baby. His shirt says "Lucky and Charming". He got to go to Build-A-Bear and we had cake and icecream. It was a good day and our baby is now 3!

Let's Take a Hike!

We typically are not the hiking type of family. Coleman needed to plan a hike and a picinic for Scouts and Shelbi needed to get in a hike before Girls Camp this summer. We totally stepped out of our box and took a hike up the White Tank Mountains. Well, they call it a mountain but I would just consider it a big hill. At any rate we went and actually had a lot of fun! The weather was great, around 75 with a breeze. We took the trail to see the Waterfall but there is only water after a heavy rain. It hasn't rained lately but we were willing to go see the site anyway. After we hiked back down we had a picinic. Taylor quoted it best today when he said, "I had a good walk today Mom" but that was only after we were finished. Half way through the hike he was telling everybody (includig passing hikers) "I hate walking!"

Who Left The Milk Out?

I just wanted to say that I have a pet peeve...I hate it when somebody leaves the milk out! I hate it when the milk jug feels warm. The kids did it again today! I feel like I am constantly saying, "Don't forget to put the milk in the fridge"....

Silly Boys!

Coleman and Tanner love to get up early when Stuart leaves for work (like 6:00am) so that they can have time to play before they have to go to school. This morning I heard their alarm go off but didn't hear them moving around. I knew that if they slept in they would be upset that someone didn't wake them up. I got up to go wake them and saw what looked like the boys sleeping in their bed. (They share a room) I told them to wake up and even shook the bed. I turned on the light and realized that the boys had placed their body pillows length wise underneath their blankets so it looked like they were still in bed. By the time I realized that it was not them I could hear them snickering in the other room where they were hiding behind the couch. Silly boys! They made me laugh today and I just wanted to share.
