Goodbye, Tiny.

Today was a sad, sad day because we had to put our Dog, Tiny down. He had a tumor growing on his shoulder and his age (15 yrs old) had caught up with him.

I never stopped to think until now, how much Tiny was apart of our family, and our every day life. Our photo albums are spotted with him always in the background next to the kids, or beneath our feet, but always present. He has witnessed our entire married life for the past 15 years. He stood by and watched us bring home every new baby into the house and still loved us. He moved with us to each new home and as long as we were there, he was happy. He protected our kids as they played in the yard. He always found his way home when he wandered off. He didn't know he was a dog. He was by far the most intelligent dog we have ever known.

We will miss his yip at the back door. We will miss giving him rides in the back of the pick up. We will miss his sweet spirit. We know that he is in a better place, running and playing with Junior (his brother that died a few years back) and waiting for us to get to see him again. We love you Tiny and can't wait to see you again some day. Here are some pictures of his life with us...

I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose your pet. I know that with us, our dogs are a part of our family. He sure was a cute dog! And what a blessing to have had him in your lives so long! =)

Made me cry!! I will miss seeing Tiny when we come to visit. I always loved his soft, sweet spirit and easy going personality. I remember that one time when Darren felt bad mom wouldn't let him in the living room, so he sat in the laundry room with him and fed him french fries. I am so sorry you had to say goodbye. I dread that day with our pets, and I wish I could take the hurt away. Let me know if you need anything!

Hugs, Kisses, and Prayers to all of you.

Love,
Karen

Thanks for your concern. It may take us a while to get used to him being gone but he is definately in a better place. :)
